Making Genki Ball step by step

Mr.Mudball

Step by step to make

Step by step making EM Mudball:

1) Measure and pour the required amount of EMAS into a plastic container.
2) Measure and pour the required amount of Molasses / Sugar into the same plastic container.
3) On a level ground or table, prepare the required amount of top soil. Create a hole in the middle of the soil heap to pour in the liquid mixture.
4) Pour the liquid mixture containing EMAS and Molasses into the middle of the soil heap.
5) Measure the required amount of wheat bran and add it to the soil heap.
6) Mix the soil, liquid and wheat bran together. Mix well to ensure it is not too wet or too dry.
7) If it is too wet, you may add more soil. If it is too dry, you can add more water.
8) Once the soil mixture is well-mixed, mould it into a ball-shape. Note that the mud ball must be compressed tightly.
9) The ideal weight of a mudball is between 200-250g.
10) After moulding the mudballs, leave it to ferment for 5 days. During fermentation, there will be white spots covering the mudballs, this is normal. The white spots are fungus which is important for a successful mudball.

IMPORTANT: Do not place mudballs under direct sunlight. Place it in an open but shady area. A mudball under ideal conditions is effective for 3-4 months.
